Eagle River Outfitters - Hunting Guide
Eagle River Outfitters offers a variety of bird hunting experiences. For those looking to test their shotgunning skills against Northern Wisconsin's premier game bird, the ruffed grouse, the Eagle River area offers hundreds of thousands of acres of prime grouse habitat. These wily and exciting game birds do not come easy and often require a bit of effort and some good shooting to put them in your bag. The 2006 grouse season opens on September 19th and closes on December 31st.
Elmer     Ringneck pheasants do not inhabit Wisconsin's Northwoods in the wild due to the severity of our winters. In order to offer clients the opportunity to hunt these spectacular birds Eagle River Outfitters conducts pheasant hunts on several of the finest shooting preserves in Northern Wisconsin. These hunts do NOT require a Wisconsin Hunting License and are not subject to regular Wisconsin pheasant hunting season dates nor bag limits. Joe and Breezy
For the hardy souls looking to take to area rivers and lakes in pursuit of waterfowl, Eagle River Outfitters can put you within range of wood ducks, mallards, teal and blue bills from either our comfortable blind boat or our "hide in the weeds" jon boat. The 2006 duck season will most likely start sometime in late September and run into mid-November. Wisconsin small game license, Wisconsin and Federal migratory waterfowl stamps required.
